2010 NATIONAL BUSHIDO AWARDS BANQUET
The United States Karate Alliance will host the Annual National Awards Banquet on Saturday evening, at the Intercontinental Hotel in the Malachite. This prestigious event includes dinner provides the opportunity to recognize the top 10 nationally ranked competitors in tournament competition sanctioned by the United States Karate Alliance.
A number of internationally recognized leaders in the martial arts will be in attendance at the ceremony, plus a martial arts social with special awards and prizes.

The World Karate Championships will feature 14 koshiki divisions. In a koshiki match a competitor may score with hands, feet, elbows or knees. At the end of two minutes, whichever competitor has the most points wins. In koshiki, a well padded chest protector is worn on the chest and a Plexiglas face shield on the headgear protects the face. The chest protector and Plexiglas shield are the only target areas. Beautiful world class medallions will be awarded to 1st – 4th place winners.
