The monthly intermediate
/ advanced belt test was
held on Thursday August
21. The two and a half
hour test required the 7
invited individuals to
perform the all the
kicks, blocks, and
punches i\utilized in
Tae Kwon Do as well as
the applications of how
they are used through
various one step drills
and sparring. D'Ann,
Sophie, and Kyle also
showed off their board
breaking skills.

Baby Copping Arrives
Pete and Dixie had a beautiful
7lbs 13 oz, 20"
baby girl on August 4.

Tioga

to compete at the 2008 Keichu
Classis held in Alexandria, La.

Weapons Training and Testing - Reading, PA
Aug 1-3, 9 MKTC instructors and students
participated in the IKKF. Some traveled by plane, others spent 18 hours in the
team van, but a great time was had by all and three students were promoted to
new Kobudo ranks. Monique Dupaquier, a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do was promoted to
1st degree black belt in weapons (Kobudo). Allison Gilmore, a 1st degree black
belt in Tae Kwon Do was promoted to 1st degree black belt in weapons (Kobudo).
And Bart Loomis 2nd degree brown belt in weapons was promoted to 1st degree
brown belt in weapons (Kobudo).
